You do! Noosa Holiday - Dolphin Kayak Adventure
A holiday isn’t a holiday without Little Sissy Pham falling ill, but the little engine that could powered through my to-do list - kayaking with dolphins, snorkelling, horse-riding in the bush and lake, bush-walking in the national parks, visiting all the local beaches, lots of spa/pool/sauna sessions at the resort and eating all the things. Noosa holidaying is a fabulous way to spend a 30th birthday month!
I loved all the things, but my personal highlight was kayaking with Kayak Noosa because I haven’t done anything like that since high school. Also, Rod, the tour guide had a wealth of knowledge about Noosa including native creatures, local environment and how the community fits into the beautiful landscape.
The tour was jam-packed with fun and knowledge. My two favourite things. We couldn’t go out to sea because the waters were wild that day so sadly no dolphins, but the alternative river route was still a great experience. Poor Little Sissy Pham suffered through her cold with my pathetic pre-gym, no-strength rowing and equally awful, Asian-driver steering - turns out I'm at terrible at steering vehicles on land and sea.
We kayaked to different locations along the river bay, visited and held cute crabs, went stingray spotting and snorkelling with fishies in the river. Then had home-made muffins as a treat before we headed back. All other Noosa food related experiences aside, Kayak Noosa was my highlight of the trip.
